How we use it
- Purchases and support: your name, email, billing address, order and payment status to deliver your guide, resolve problems and meet invoicing requirements. Legal bases: contract and legal obligation.
- Free guides and newsletter: your email and language to send the sample and communications you accept when subscribing. Legal basis: consent. Reply UNSUBSCRIBE to leave; you can keep your PDF.
- Availability notices: your email, destination and language for the notice you request, without subscribing you to a newsletter. Legal basis: consent, which you can withdraw by email.
- Contact and reviews: information you provide so we can reply, address corrections and improve our guides. Legal basis: your request or our legitimate interest in responding. We only publish your review with your permission and never publish your email.
- Security: technical information and access logs to prevent fraud and abuse, based on our legitimate interest in protecting the website.
Required fields enable us to process your request; without them we cannot do so. We do not make automated decisions with legal effects or sell your data.
Providers and retention
We use Hostinger for hosting and email services and Stripe to process payments and prevent fraud. Stripe receives payment details directly; we do not store your full card number. Support or accounting providers may also access data, as may authorities where legally required. See Stripe’s privacy policy and Hostinger’s privacy policy, including the safeguards applicable to their international transfers.
We retain orders for the statutory tax and accounting periods and, where appropriate, to handle claims. Enquiries are retained as necessary to respond and address liabilities. Subscriptions remain until you unsubscribe and availability requests until the notice is sent or cancelled. We retain minimum evidence of consent or withdrawal where necessary. Sample download links expire after seven days.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, erasure, objection, restriction and portability, or withdraw consent, by writing to hola@kaixomundo.com. Withdrawal does not affect earlier processing. You may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
Cookies and external services
The shop uses storage needed for sessions, the basket, security and payment. Your language choice is stored in your browser as kaixo-language; you can clear it in browser settings. YouTube videos load when you click to play; doing so sends technical connection data to the provider. External websites have their own privacy policies.
Optional advertising measurement
Added on 30 October 2026. With your consent, WHATS YOUR STORY SL uses Google Ads to understand which adverts lead to guide purchases. Google receives technical connection data, the page address without its query parameters, advertising click identifiers, and, after a confirmed purchase, an order reference, its total and currency. This integration does not send your name, email, address or payment details. Enhanced conversions and personalised advertising are not enabled by this integration.
The Google tag is blocked until you accept measurement. Necessary shop and payment storage remains available if you reject it. Google may use first-party _gcl_* cookies to attribute conversions, typically for up to 90 days. We save your choice in this browser as km_ads_consent_v1 for up to 180 days. After consent, km_ads_sent_v1 stores order references in this browser for up to 90 days to reduce duplicate events. You can change or withdraw your choice using “Measurement preferences”; withdrawal stops future measurement and removes this integration’s accessible attribution cookies.
Google may process data outside your country. See Google’s business privacy information for its role, retention and transfer safeguards. The rights and contact details above also apply. Rejecting measurement does not affect buying or downloading a guide.
